Parc des Hauts-Fonds

This 20-hectare park offers the opportunity to check out landscapes specific to the freshwater estuary of the St. Lawrence River. Adjacent to Réserve naturelle des battures de Saint-Augustin (Saint-Augustin flats nature reserve), home to marshes, swamps, and wet meadows, you can relax with birds and frogs while enjoying an exceptional view of the river. The clay path is a 30-minute loop suitable for children. Several vulnerable species such as Victorin's water hemlock, the dwarf wrasse, Victorin's gentian, the St. Lawrence hedge-hyssop, and the American shad can be observed in this area.
