Parc nautique de Cap-Rouge

Water activities
Beach and relaxation
Located at the mouth of Rivière du Cap Rouge, this water park offers a wide range of activities, infrastructure, and services. Sailing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, and pedal boat riding are all on the agenda. Deck boat outings on Rivière du Cap Rouge also offer a beautiful panorama and a privileged view of the Cap Rouge flats. A riverside promenade connects the site to Parc de la Plage Jacques-Cartier and Des Grèves trail. This was the location of Fort Charlesbourg-Royal, now an integral part of a national historic site recognized by the Government of Canada. It bears witness to a pair of 16th century forts associated with the first French colony in North America.
